I have painted off and on for the last 23 years (since 1989)
and now have paintings hanging in many private collections
in my beloved country Malaysia and around the globe
it gives me great happiness and pleasure to be able to paint
for people's enjoyment
because the paintings come from my heart,
this is the greatest the almighty Allah given gift
that I can share with everyone.

Understanding abstract art

does not come naturally for everyone.

It is the kind of art that makes

some people scratch their heads and say,

"a monkey could do that."

What people don't realize is that

the best abstract artists have excellent drawing skills,

a finely honed sense of composition,

and a deep understanding of the workings of colour.

Most abstract artists have the ability to draw a perfectly rendered rose or a realistic portrait (I am exceptional),

but they choose not to.

Instead they choose to express their creativity

by creating a visual experience that is more free and unencumbered by the weight of objects.

I felt instinctive necessity to share all that brings

a deeper understanding and meaning in life.

What is behind the traditional measure of success,

wealth, expensive clothing, fame…

what is the inner calling behind

the facade of status and education?

What brings joy and what is the driving force….

As an artist No matter what we do or who we are,

we all have an inner calling.

is the ultimate expression

of the blissful divine presence in each one of us.

A painting most commonly refers to art and colours,

but in reality is much more than that.

My abstract painting is an Expression,

A Manner of Doing Something,

It’s The distributions of Your Thoughts,

The Confidence You Exude,

The Grace, it’s a Self Expression,

it’s merely a Reflection of what’s inside.

A quality of my imagination and self expressed

actions and feelings”

It’s a form of personal signature and manifestation of personality, distinctiveness and originality.

To live an inspired life and manage to balance

between that and the sometimes ill-fated reality

is an ability we all need to master.

The greater danger for most of us (Artists)

lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short;

but in setting our aim too low,

and achieving our mark.

Reacquainting yourself with an elevated vision

and begin living an inspired life

is a challenge that has to succeed.

Each blank canvas is a new challenge and watching the paint do its magic is always stimulating, sometimes frustrating but usually the process of getting there is fun.
